Project Scope

Problem:

Tami Parr is an accomplished author with a passion for artisan cheese and cheese production. She is the founder of the beloved Pacific Northwest Cheese Project, a blog about all things PNW cheese; she has two books on the subject; and she has been published in such publications as The Oregonian, Mix Magazine, and Edible Portland. With a third book in the works Tami needed a new website to reflect her stature as the expert on the subject, and to drive interest and book sales.

Solution:

I designed a new website for Tami that communicates both her subject-matter expertise and the playful nature of the subject itself. Our goal was to feature her books and where to buy them, and create a ready platform for her forthcoming book on goats and goat culture in the U.S. The new site features a fun, agrarian-feeling brand identity, a mailing list for updates about the new book, and as many funny goat photos as we could fit.

Tami is also an Editor and Writing Coach, check out Dairy Creek Media to learn more.
