Project Scope
Problem:
Facing intermittent closures and limited in-person capacity due to Covid-19 restrictions, Hidden Gem owner Heather Jaynes needed to pivot her business model to online sales. Her existing website was not designed for ecommerce so she needed to make a quick change.
Solution:
I moved the Hidden Gem website over to Shopify and built an ecommerce shop designed to highlight a limited selection of the shop's inventory. The goal was to start small and manageable, and expand the online offering over time. I consulted on product organization, shipping strategy, and future growth opportunities within Shopify.
